By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business (for example, as an advertiser or partner), you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes that business. Advertising and partnership arrangements may additionally be governed by a separate written agreement; where there is a conflict, the separate agreement prevails for that arrangement.
JB-SG Link is an independent information platform for people travelling between Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Singapore. The Service may include, without limitation:
JB-SG Link is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency of Malaysia or Singapore, including the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (JIM), Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), or any transport operator, bank, or money-transfer provider referenced on the Service.
You must be capable of forming a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction to accept these Terms. The Service is not directed at children; if you are a minor, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
The Service provides general information only. All data on the Service — including checkpoint status, camera images, exchange rates, fuel prices, holidays, weather, guides, deals, and community reports — is provided for convenience and general reference and may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, machine-generated, community-submitted, or simply wrong.

The Service allows you to submit crossing reports, issue reports, optional short notes, and (through forms) messages and feedback (“User Content”).
You agree that you will not submit User Content that:
You retain any rights you have in your User Content. By submitting it, you grant JB-SG Link a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, aggregate, publish, and display that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Service — including displaying reports on the Service, aggregating them into statistics and historical patterns, and retaining anonymised or aggregated forms indefinitely.
We may (but are not obliged to) review, edit, decline to publish, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these Terms or is stale, duplicative, or suspected to be false. Community reports auto-expire from live display after a limited time window. We may restrict or block submissions from sources engaged in abuse.
User Content reflects the views of its contributors, not of JB-SG Link. We do not verify community reports and are not responsible for their accuracy.

The Service — including its design, layout, text, guides, graphics, logos, compiled data, software, and the selection and arrangement of content — is owned by or licensed to JB-SG Link and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws of Malaysia and other jurisdictions. “JB-SG Link”, “JB·SG Link”, and associated logos are our trade names and marks. Except as expressly permitted, no part of the Service may be copied, adapted, or exploited for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
You may view the Service, share links to it, and share screenshots or the share-text snippets generated by the Service’s built-in share features (e.g. the “Copy” and WhatsApp share functions) for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided attribution to jbsglink.com is preserved.
Certain data displayed on the Service is sourced from third parties and government open-data programmes, including the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) DataMall, data.gov.sg, and data.gov.my. Such data remains the property of its respective owners and is used in accordance with the applicable open-data licences. Traffic-camera images are © LTA and are republished under the Singapore Open Data Licence. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights in third-party data beyond what the relevant third-party licence allows.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you agree we may use them without restriction or compensation.
The Service links to third-party websites and services (e.g. remittance platforms, banks, merchants, official government sites, event pages). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Following such links is at your own risk, and any transaction you enter with a third party is solely between you and that third party.
Some links on the Service are affiliate links — if you click them and sign up or transact, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The Service may display advertising and sponsored placements. Sponsored content is labelled as such. The presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement by JB-SG Link of the advertiser or its products, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and an advertiser. Upstream data sources (e.g. LTA cameras, government APIs, rate providers) may change or become unavailable, which may affect the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT AND DATA ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, RELIABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CHECKPOINT STATUS, CAMERA IMAGES, EXCHANGE RATES, FUEL PRICES, HOLIDAY DATA, WEATHER, GUIDES, COMMUNITY REPORTS, OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws applicable to you (including any non-excludable consumer guarantees under Malaysian consumer protection law).
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JB-SG Link and its owner and operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your User Content; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for suspected breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including the User Content licence, Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Governing Law) will survive.
We may revise these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be signposted on the Service where practicable. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, provided that nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any competent jurisdiction, and nothing deprives you of any mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you reside.
